For students not majoring in Biology. An introduction to the scientific study of biological evolution and its applications. The mechanisms that cause evolution, and general patterns of evolution during the history of life. Prerequisite: Biology 101.
Biology 471: Evolutionary Mechanisms.
Introduction to the mechanisms of evolutionary changes, including natural selection, population and evolutionary genetics, life history evolution, speciation, and micro-and macroevolutionary patterns. Prerequisite: Biology 201 and 202.
Biology 659: Graduate seminar in ecology and evolution.
